music video meltdown (mvm)

mvm is a pandemic-born music video show, hosted on twitch.tv, and curated by an ever-growing array of pop culture pros. inspired by the cyclical block-programming of late 90’s and early 00’s era MTV, Fuse, IMF, and VH1- mvm bridges both old and new musical artists, sometimes shows movies, music related docs, and notable adverts from the pre-internet times. the initial goal with mvm was to recreate the experience of happening upon new music via music video while emulating a sorely missed bygone era of television I personally grew up on.

the channel evolved to include video remixes..

and shows like mvm: videomusik, a sporadic showcase of original music and videos, created and co curated by the artist NEW USERNAME.

02/13/26 mvm held it’s first ever live screening alongside the stream to showcase this ship can’t sink, an mvm feature length video remix. the screening raised funds for CHIRLA via suggested donation.
